I’m Jane, the wild woman behind Hedgecomber Studio.

I design and make simple yet beautiful leather goods from my tiny studio on our little farm in Cornwall. Every item begins as a top-quality vegetable-tanned leather hide, which I cut, shape and finish entirely by hand.

No machines doing the work for me. No fast production lines. Just traditional tools and a deep love of the tactile nature of leather.

My inspiration comes from nature and the wild landscapes I explore, along with my desire to make functional, everyday items beautiful.

When I’m not in the workshop, you’ll likely find me travelling in my campervan Noodle, foraging hedgerows for supper, or out exploring with my rescue dog Sunny.
